Interests: "And the word of Jehovah continued to occur to me, saying... ‘An end, the end, has come upon the four extremities of the land. Now the end is upon you, and I must send my anger against you, and I will judge you according to your ways and bring upon you all your detestable things. And my eye will not feel sorry for you, neither will I feel compassion, for upon you I shall bring your own ways, and in the midst of you your own detestable things will come to be; and YOU people will have to know that I am Jehovah.’ " (Ezekiel 7:1-4) (New World Translation) Expertise: 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. | History Repeats Itself? An ancient world was “destroyed"! Will it happen again?
Just as an ancient world was “destroyed” in the days of Noah - again - God has promised to “destroy” all of the evil in the entire world when His son returns to the earth. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. (Matthew 24:37) (New International Version) A whole world was “destroyed”! By now the quotation marks around the word “destroyed” must be apparent. Why is the word always in quotes?
Because the world will not be totally destroyed! Just the cultures, military, commerce, and governments that exist now. Look at the world around us, with its cities, its culture, its scientific achievements, its population of billions. It is easy to be impressed by its apparent permanence, is it not? Could it be possible that some day soon this advanced and ultramodern world could completely disappear? That may be difficult to envision. However, according to a very good source, a “world”, a civilization, existed before this one and it was wiped out – down to just eight people. Why Did That Ancient World Perish? The global deluge was not a natural disaster. It was a judgment from God. Warning was given, but it was largely ignored.According to Peter: 5 And God did not spare the ancient world--except for Noah and his family of seven. Noah warned the world of God's righteous judgment. Then God destroyed the whole world of ungodly people with a vast flood. (2Peter 2:5) (New Living Translation) Why did God destroy them?
5 The LORD saw how bad the people on earth were and that everything they thought and planned was evil. (Genesis 6:5) (Contemporary English Version) 11-12 God knew that everyone was terribly cruel and violent. (Genesis 6:11-12) (CEV) Isn't this situation similar today? Maybe the hatred and violence is not quite as widespread yet, but give it time. We regularly hear about horrifying acts of terrorism, campaigns of genocide - mass killings by gunmen and bombers with little apparent motive, and domestic violence on a shocking scale. The earth has again be- come filled with violence, and as before, the world has been put on notice of a judgment to come. Jesus himself said that he would come as God's appointed Judge and that he would separate people as a shepherd separates sheep from goats: 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from anotheras a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.33 He will putthe sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." (Matthew 25:32-34,41,46) (NIV) Christ and his followers issued some serious warnings to mankind long ago:
"As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age." (Matthew 13:40) (NIV) "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!" (Luke 12:49) (NIV) "But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed." (Luke 17:29-30) (NIV) "For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows; men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. For so shall it come upon all them that dwell on the face of all the earth. But watch ye at every season, making supplication, that ye may prevail to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. (Luke 21:22,26,27,36) (American Standard Version)
"For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will ever again. Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved." (Matthew 24:21,22) (New ASV) "This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes to be glorified" (2Thessalonians 1:7-10) (NIV) Billions will die but many will survive unharmed
The Bible says that this time, however, there will be – not a small group – but a great crowd who worship the only true God. In the world to come, these will enjoy life in permanent peace and security as never before. Jehovah’s prophets have spoken it:
9 After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white and held palm branches in their hands. 10 And they were shouting with a mighty shout, "Salvation comes from our God on the throne and from the Lamb!" 11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings. And they fell face down before the throne and worshiped God. 12 They said, "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and forever. Amen!" 13 Then one of the twenty-four elders asked me, "Who are these who are clothed in white? Where do they come from?" 14 And I said to him, "Sir, you are the one who knows." Then he said to me, "These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb and made them white. 15 That is why they are standing in front of the throne of God, serving him day and night in his Temple. And he who sits on the throne will live among them and shelter them. 16 They will never again be hungry or thirsty, and they will be fully protected from the scorching noontime heat. 1 7 For the Lamb who stands in front of the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to the springs of life- giving water. And God will wipe away all their tears." (Revelation 7:9-17) (New Living Translation) "For yet a little while, and the evildoers will be no more; though you look with care where they used to be, they will not be found. But the meek shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." (Psalm 37:10,11) (Amplified Bible) 3 and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig-tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of Jehovah of hosts hath spoken it. (Micah 4:3, 4) (ASV) A worldwide warning about this coming Day of Judgment and a message of good news about the peace that will follow are today being zealously preached in obedience to Jesus' prophetic command. 14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then, finally, the end will come. (Matthew 24:14) (New Living Translation) This warning is not to be taken lightly. Almighty God keeps his word:
"In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proofof this to all men by raising him from the dead." (Acts 17:30,31) (NIV)

| CHRIST HAS ALREADY SHOWN US WHAT HE PLANS TO DO By resurrecting the dead back to a restored life here on the earth, Our Savior, God's Son displayed not only his ability to resurrect the dead - but also his future intentions. 18 While he was saying this, a ruler came and knelt before him and said, "My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live." 19 Jesus got up and went with him, and so did his disciples. 23 When Jesus entered the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd, 24 he said, "Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep." But they laughed at him. 25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. 26 News of this spread through all that region. (Matthew 9:18-19,23-26) (New International Version) The Bible’s prophets wrote about this extraordinary phenomenon many times thousands of years ago: "Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake." (Daniel 12:2) (NIV) "Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, O my people; and I will bring you into the land... And I will put my Spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I will place you in your own land: and ye shall know that I, Jehovah, have spoken it and performed it, saith Jehovah." (Ezekiel 37:12-14) (American Standard Version) "Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits. " (Isaiah 26:19) (New American Standard Bible) 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord Jehovah, thou knowest. 4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy over these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah. 5 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live. 6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and, behold, an earthquake; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 And I beheld, and, lo, there were sinews upon them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them. 9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. (Ezekiel 37:3-10) (ASV) Under the direction of his Father and using the power that Jehovah will give him Christ will resurrect many people back to life right here on the earth. "Don't be surprised! The time will come when all of the dead will hear the voice of the Son of Man, and they will come out of their graves." (John 5:28) (Contemporary English Version) Even in Christ’s Day - The people recognized that it was the God of Israel - Jehovah - who gave His Son His power. "The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel. "
(Matthew 15:31) (NIV) "One night he went to Jesus and said, 'Sir, we know that God has sent you to teach us. You could not work these miracles, unless God were with you.' " (John 3:2) (CEV) Did Christ possess this power because he was God? "Jesus gave them this answer: ' I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing... For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. ' " (John 5:19,21) (NIV)

| A WARNING MESSAGE
THAT MOST WILL IGNORE
Just Like in Jeremiah's Day
Jeremiah was given a commission by Jehovah God, to warn the people of a coming destruction. But Jeremiah was also told in advance that no one would listen to him. "When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you." (Jeremiah 7:27) (New International Version) So then - why did Jeremiah have to preach a warning message? Why did Jeremiah persist in preaching for fifty years knowing in advance - that no one would listen to him? Why ? Because Jehovah God is just - and will not destroy anyone without a prior warning. Surely the Lord Jehovah will do nothing, except he reveal his secret unto his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7) (American Standard Version) "Son of man, I have made you a watchman... so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me." (Ezekiel 3:17) (NIV) So too, today - Jehovah has sent his messengers to warn mankind of an impending destruction. And they too are told by means of the Bible - that the vast majority of mankind will not listen.
"...so with God and Christ as witnesses, I command you to preach God's message. Do it willingly, even if it isn't the popular thing to do." (2Timothy 4:1,2) (Contemporary English Version) "But you shall speak My words to them whether they listen or not." (Ezekiel 2:7) (New American Standard Bible) So what is the message for today that the people of the world will just ignore? "And this Gospel - good news of the Kingdom Reign shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall 'the end' come." (Matthew 24:14) (21st Century King James) This message was NOT popular in Jeremiah's Day and it is NOT popular now. "If you think people are so hardened in sin that they will hate you for preaching the Word, then read JEREMIAH." -- R. L. Whiteside. God's faithful messengers have never been in the majority. The Old Testament prophets and the New Testament apostles were never overwhelmed with popularity. People did not speak well of them or their message. They detested and persecuted the messenger. Instead of becoming angry at God who composed the message, they poured out their wrath upon the faithful servant who delivered it. It has always been so. Therefore, it should be no surprise today. THE MAJORITY WILL NOT LISTEN Christ, himself, foretold that the vast majority of mankind would be destroyed when he returns: "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:13,14) (NIV What will happen to the ones who do not find it? A GLOBAL DESTRUCTION "This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes to be glorified." (2Thessalonians 1:7-10) (NIV) "A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked." (Psalm 91:7,8) (NIV) "Those slain by Jehovah will certainly come to be in that day from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth. They will not be bewailed, neither will they be gathered up or be buried. As manure on the surface of the ground they will become." (Jeremiah 25:33) (ASV) "For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity." (Isaiah 26:21) (ASV) "For, behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and his chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire will Jehovah execute judgment, and by his sword, upon all flesh; and the slain of Jehovah shall be many... And they shall go forth, and look upon the dead bodies of the men that have transgressed against me." (Isaiah 66:15,16,24) (ASV) "...Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah's wrath; but the whole earth shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy." (Zephaniah 1:14-17 (ASV) "For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." (Luke 21:25-27,35,36) (NIV) INSTEAD OF HEEDING THE WARNING THEY WILL RIDICULE AND LAUGH First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. (2Peter 3:3) (NIV) "In that day men will ridicule you; they will taunt you." (Micah 2:4) (NIV) "But remember...that the apostles of our Master, Jesus Christ, told us this would happen: ‘In the last days there will be people who don't take these things seriously anymore. They'll treat them like a joke. These are the ones who are thinking only of themselves. There's nothing to them, no sign of the Spirit!’" (Jude 1:17-19) (Message Bible) JUST LIKE NOAH'S DAY - MOST WILL IGNORE THE WARNING "For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be." (Matthew 24:37-39) (New World Translation) WWW.WatchTower.Org THE TIME OF IGNORANCE IS OVER "In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead." (Acts 17:30,31) (NIV)

| The Lords of Christmas
Most Christians believe that Christmas is a holy day for all Christians. Not only is Christmas revered by the mainstream Christians but they think that their God and Jesus appreciates their celebration efforts. Yet Christmas is not a Christian custom!
Where did Christmas come from? "The real origin of Christmas goes back to ancient Babylon. It is bound up in the organized apostasy with which Satan has gripped a deceived world these many centuries! In Egypt, it was always believed that the son of Iris (Egyptian name for "Queen of Heaven") was born December 25th. Semiramis also bore the title "Queen of Heaven" - and she was Nimrod's mother. Paganism celebrated this famous birthday over most of the known world for centuries before the birth of Christ." -The Plain Truth About Christmas by David J. Stewart | December 24th, 2005 Who is Nimrod? "Christmas as a pagan holiday traces back thousands of years before to a man named Nimrod, founder of ancient pagan Babylon." -Christmas Unwrapped From the History Channel by Alan Mansager The Bible mentions Nimrod briefly: 8 Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD." (Genesis 10:8-9) (NIV)"As the people increased in number, the Way of Jehovah was corrupted and a principal figure in those days was Nimrod, the grandson of Ham described as a mighty hunter before Jehovah. The word 'before' used in this sense means, 'totally antagonistic to Jehovah.' We celebrate Christmas on a date which coincides with the birthday of Nimrod - the villainous king of ancient Babylon." -The Ensign Trust VOLUME I No.2 - JUNE 1999 'NARROW IS THE WAY' By Harry Lancaster Nimrod opposed Jehovah and set about finding ways to build an entire empire of false, non-Biblical beliefs.
"Nimrod, who built Babel or Babylon, conceived a one world government model in rebellion against Jehovah-God and went about to establish a one world government in the land of Shinar (which is today known as Iraq) and institute a pagan worship system that rejected the Lord God Jehovah." -- The Book; THE HISTORY OF HALLOWEEN The Nimrod - Druid Connection Pastor David L. Brown, Ph.D. © September 1998 "December 25 was highly honored and recognized by Nimrod's supporters... Many centuries later this pagan custom was "Christianized" as being the birthday of Christ." -The True Origin of Christmas and Other Holidays Who Was Really Born On December 25? The Gilead Institute of America "Lent, Easter and Christmas are of Babylonian origin." -EASTER AND CHRISTMAS PAGANISM 2000 B.C. TO DATE by Edward Stevens (1895-1966) So what is the origin of the Christmas tree? "Nimrod started the great organized worldly apostasy from God that has dominated this world until now. Nimrod married his own mother, whose name was Semiramis. After Nimrod's death, his so-called mother-wife, Semiramis, propagated the evil doctrine of the survival of Nimrod as a spirit being. She claimed a full-grown evergreen tree sprang overnight from a dead tree stump, which symbolized the springing forth unto new life of the dead Nimrod. On each anniversary of his birth, she claimed, Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts upon it. December 25th, was the birthday of Nimrod. This is the real origin of the Christmas tree." -The Plain Truth About Christmas by David J. Stewart | December 24th, 2005What about the Yule Log? "Traditionally, a yule log was burned in the fireplace on Christmas Eve and during the night as the log's embers died, there appeared in the room, as if by magic, a Christmas tree surrounded by gifts. The yule log represented the sun-god Nimrod and the Christmas tree represented himself resurrected as his own son Tammuz."
So our Christmas tree -- and our yule log -- have tremendous meaning, but not a Christian meaning. The yule log is the dead Nimrod, human ruler of ancient Babylon, who was eventually deified as the sun incarnate, and hence a god. The Christmas tree is mystical Tammuz, the slain god come to life again." --After Armageddon -Chapter 4 Where do we get our ideas? by John A. Sarkett Does that make Nimrod a "Lord of Christmas"? "December 25th was celebrated as Nimrod's birthday. Generally, all mankind is fast asleep, dreaming this old Babylonian dream." -The Story Of Nimrod, As It Relates To Christmas And Easter by Wilhelm J Wolfaardt
Nimrod and his legacy lives on all over the world. "December 25th - not only was Mithra, the sun-god of Mithraism, said to be born at this time of the year, but Osiris, Horus, Hercules, Bacchus, Adonis, Jupiter, Tammuz, and other sun-gods were also supposedly born at what is today called the "Christmas" season, the winter solstice!" - Doane, p.474; - "The Two Babylons; Alexander Hislop, p.93. "The winter solstice (December) was the time at which all the sun-gods from Osiris to Jupiter and Mithra had celebrated their (birthdays) - the celebration being adorned with the pine tree of Adonis, the holly of Saturn, and the mistletoe (of the pagan Druids)... tapers(candles) represented the kindling of the newborn sun-god's fire..." -Man and His Gods, p.201. "Thus from Babylon emerged the entire complex of human 'religion'. Tthe various gods and goddesses of Rome, Greece, India, Egypt, and other nations can be identified with corresponding gods from Babel." --Babylon - Source of False Religion "Babylon, Mystery Religion" by Ralph Woodrow "Subtly...the old gods had entered their churches... And they live still in the festivals of Christianity." -(Testament: The Bible and History, Romer, 1988, pp. 230-31)
But Christ's Followers REFUSED to Celebrate December 25th.
"On your day of gladness, we [Christians] neither cover our doorposts with wreaths, nor intrude upon the day with lamps. At the call of public festivity, you consider it a proper thing to decorate your house like some new brothel. We are accused of a lower sacrilege because we do not celebrate along with you the holidays ..." - (Tertullian, (A.D. 155-220), 2001, p. 1176). (quoted by David Bercot, A Dictionary of Early Christian Beliefs, 1998, p. 342). "The pagan Romans clad their doorposts with green and branching laurels... In the Saturnalia... Presents come and go... There are... gifts and Banquets... yet Christians should have no acquaintance with the festivals of the pagans." - Tertullian, (A.D. 155-220), quoted by David Bercot, A Dictionary of Early Christian Beliefs, 1998, p. 342). "Gift Giving - during the Roman festival of Saturnalia, gifts were given as good luck emblems and houses were decorated with greenery. The early Christians, however, frowned on this pagan ritual, and wouldn't have any part of it." - Christmas Traditions & Trivia 1999 HFCWillcox
Today's modern "Christians" willingly embrace the pagan customs that honor old pagan gods.
Is That a good idea?
2 I am Jehovah thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:2) (ASV)

| Christ Is Ready for the Harvest
The world is a shambles and getting worse every day. People all over the world are asking:
Why were our homes destroyed by earthquakes, fires and flooding? Why is there so much violence and warfare? Why is the economy so bad? Why is my job gone? What will happen next? Why is the world a shambles? Mankind was allowed to run amuck in this world for many thousands of years. Just look at what we have accomplished! What does the world have? Poverty and famines. Widespread hatred. Oppression, wars, pollution, disease, squalor, unrest and despair. Not only that, but the problems are growing! Not once have the governmental leaders of this world, in their wisdom, ever solved any of these problems in any country. They never have and never will. Because of widespread corruption and incompetence, the world’s leaders solely look out for their own interests and disregard the problems of the people they supposedly serve. Who can save the world from certain disaster? "...for they shall cry unto Jehovah because of oppressors, and he will send them a saviour, and a defender, and he will deliver them." (Isaiah 19:20) (ASV)
"...At the time that God has already decided, he will send Christ back again." (1Timothy 6:15) (CEV) That is wonderful news! Jehovah and His son are about to do something about the havoc and chaos in the world soon.
But what must occur first? A small thing – and yet – a large accomplishment! Before God’s son takes over, all of his true followers must stop calling him "Jesus". Why? "The Hebrews called their coming Savior, the Messiah, Jahshuawah (Jehoshua). The disciples of the Savior accepted Him as such, and to them He was known as Jahshuwah the Messiah. The Greeks, however, rejected the Hebrew name, and called Him (IESOUS-Jesus) instead." - The Origin of Christianity by A.B. Traina "It is interesting to note - that throughout his life - the one now known as Jesus Christ never did hear himself called by that name." - "Man’s Great Adventure," by Edwin W. Pharlow, professor of history, Ohio State University.
"It is known that the Greek name endings with sus, seus and sous were attached by the Greeks to names and geographical areas as means to give honour to their supreme deity, Zeus." -Dictionary of Christian Lore and Legend Professor J. C. J. Metford
That is why. God’s son is not Jesus! Just as the Bible translators substituted "GOD" and "LORD" for God’s actual name, Jehovah, they also painstakingly traded "Jesus" for "Jehoshua" in place of Christ’s true name. Has it always been that way? "In the 1611 KJ New Testatment the name Yahshua (Yehoshua) appeared originally wherever the Messiah was spoken of. Yehoshua means Yehovah's (Jehovah's) Salvation. Later the Messiah's name was replaced with Iesus (Greek) which later in the 1600's it became Jesus starting with the new English letter 'J' which was introduced at that time. Further, the Greek 'Iesus' comes from the name Zeus, the ruling God in the Greek pantheon." -Gospel of The Kingdom True Names and Title Dr. Henry Clifford Kinley 1931 - Ohio USA
Instead, true Christians will let go of Christendom’s three-headed trinity god named Jesus and call our savior by his correct name. Jehoshua Christ's name (Jehoshua) is of Hebrew origin and is taken from the name Yehoshua, which in English is often translated as Joshua. Yehoshua, in Hebrew means "Yehovah Saves". -Strong's Exhaustive Concordance Jehoshua was the name given to Christ by his heavenly Father, Jehovah God. Many years after his death - Rome changed his name to suit their pagan heritage and to please their pagan converts. "Ieous" was Greek for "Hail Zeus", which was translated later into English as "Jesus". And this error has continued to the present. "The name Joshua (Jehoshua) derives its greatest importance and highest sanctity from the fact that it was sacredly chosen as the name to be borne by the Messiah. This name was corrupted and altered in time into the name Jesus." --Personal Names in the Bible by Dr. W.F. Wilkinson, M.A. Joint Editor of Webster and Wilkinson's Greek Testament: pages 342-343.
"Jesus. That was a name given to him many years after His death. Rome wanted to remove any Jewishness from the new church. They eliminated His Jewish name and blended the name of Zeus in order to make it comfortable for all those who had previously worshipped the Greek and Roman gods. Since Zeus was the top god of their experience, attaching the name Ioesus (hail Zeus) to Yahshua - gave Him top priority in the worship hierarchy." -Winds of Praise Broadcasting Believer or Follower? The Sound of the Shofar By Jon Thompson CHRIST DECLARED : "I have come in My Father's name and with His power..." (John 5:43) (AMP)
And as we can plainly see, that name is not "Jesus"! Christ will not take action on behalf of his true followers until they give up their "J-zeus" error. Only when Jehovah's people begin to call upon "Jehoshua" - will they obtain the Salvation that Jehovah has promised to them. But some will balk against such a change! They will resist this request from God's Chosen King. For whatever reason, there are some that will rather leave Jehovah's earthly organization rather than call Christ "Jehoshua". That would be "the weeds". "The owner's servants came to him and said, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?' 'An enemy did this,' he replied. "The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them up?' 'No,' he answered, 'because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.' " (Matthew 13:27-30) (NIV)
All over the world weeds have been sown in with the faithful. They have served Jehovah side by side for some time now just as Jehoshua Christ said they would. The time has finally come to sort the weeds from the wheat.
"Be patient like those farmers and don't give up. The Lord will soon be here!" (James 5:8) (CEV)
"...I know you can't stomach evil, that you weed out apostolic pretenders..." (Revelation 2:2) (MSG)
"...limp souls. Useless as weeds, fragile as grass, insubstantial as wind-blown chaff." (2Kings 19:26) (MSG) "...Soon, oh very soon, her harvest will come and then the chaff will fly!'" (Jeremiah 51:29) (MSG)
"I know your deeds... You have kept My word, and have not denied My name." (Revelation 3:8) (NASB) And it was for this very reason that Christ waited so long to reveal this truth to his followers. The Harvest wasn't ready and he didn't want to uproot the wheat with the weeds. But now that will not be a problem anymore because the Harvest is ready. The First Command directed to Jehovah's people by God's chosen King, Jehoshua, is to begin calling Christ by his rightful name. It is not a difficult thing to do but it will mean putting God and Christ first in our lives and it may also mean a loss of favor with the rest of the Jesus-worshiping world. A similar but tremendous dividing work happened when Jehovah God began to take out of the nations A People For His name. When the International Bible Students made the decision to become "Jehovah’s Witnesses" - to fulfil Bible Prophecy and identify themselves as His people, some fell away - as they were weed-like and refused to be called by Jehovah's Divine Name.
This same dividing or separating - is happening again today - at this time of "The End". But now, instead of Jehovah’s name separating true followers from the unfaithful, this time it will be the name of God's Son, "Jehoshua" Christ that will uproot the weeds that were sown by Satan. A choice has to be made. A choice will be made. One way or the other - each of us will choose the side on which we will stand. From such a small change will come a tremendous accomplisment. THE HARVEST IS ON! The wheat and weeds are about to be sorted and gathered. Which side will we choose? "Jesus" or "Jehoshua"? "Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it." (Deuteronomy 30:11,14) (NIV) "...YOU will by no means see me until YOU say, ‘Blessed is he that comes in Jehovah’s name.’" (Luke 13:35) (NWT) "There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12) (NLT) "Blessed is he who is coming In the name of Jehovah..." (Psalm 118:26) (YLT) And while we are at it… ARE YOU SAYING "AMEN" – IN IGNORANCE ? "By ending our prayers in 'amen'... one could very well ask, "Have we been misled to invoke the name of the Egyptian 'Sun-god' at the end of our prayers?" -United Hebrew Congregation Charles J. Voss
It is common to end a discourse on spiritual matters, (or end a prayer) with (the word) "Amen". Few of us realize that the word 'Amen' is an Egyptian word. It refers to the Egyptian god of Thebes. The Hebrews adopted the word and it passed into Christian use as "Amen". It is a petition for (the god - Amen) to fulfill our words. - MYSTIC GIFTS FROM ANCIENT EGYPT By Dr John Palo ; 1999 The Israelite exiles from Egypt knew that Jehovah was not the same as the Egyptian god Aten, and so they presumed he must be the equivalent of the great State God of Egypt. It was decided, therefore, to add the name of that State-god of Egypt to all prayers thereafter, and the name of that Egyptian god was "Amen". To this day, the name of Amen is still recited at the end of prayers in both Jewish and Christian religions. - Genesis of the Grail Kings by Sir Laurence Gardner; pg. 6 Finally, we may note that the word "Amen" occurs in gnostic spells… especially of Egyptian origin, and a sort of magical efficacy seems to have been attributed to this word.. The practice of answering "Amen" at the end of prayers appears in the Canons of Hippolytus (No. 146) and in the Egyptian Church Order (p. 101). - New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia Thurston, Herbert. "Amen." The Catholic Encyclopedia. Vol. 1. New York: Robert Appleton Company, 1907. When we did it in ignorance, maybe God looked past that. But now that you know the truth, what will you do? Will you continue to use the name of a pagan god to close your prayers? Is it too hard to change that now? Because you’ve been using the ‘amen’ tradition for a long time - will you rationalize and justify why you keep on invoking the name of the Egyptian god, Amen? Will you find a pastor or teacher to reassure you that "it’s okay to say ‘amen’ - Or will you give thanks to God for revealing His truth and stop using the name of a pagan god?" -And they all Said, "AMEN" by J.D. Roberts The true followers of Jehovah and His son will know what to do.
